Laughter Clubs are popular around the world with over 6000 Community Laughter Clubs meeting in 45 countries (as at November 2009), and every week, a new club is laughing its way into being.
Community Laughter Clubs are set up and run by qualified, experienced Laughter Leaders with a passion for Laughter, who volunteer their time to run a community club in their local area.
Community Laughter Clubs welcome everyone. The Laughter program is suitable for people of all ages and abilities and Clubs are non-political, non-denominational and not-for-profit. Many Community Laughter Clubs are free although some charge a small fee to cover their running costs.
